I am very pleased to announce that Sonja Felton has accepted the position of Executive Director of Huron Valley PACE. Sonja joined HVP in 2014 and has held the positions of Medical Social Worker, Medical Social Work Manager and Center Director. She is currently serving as Interim Executive Director.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University. As a Patricia Robert Harris Fellow, she received her Master of Public Administration from North Carolina State University and later attended the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work as a McGregor Fellow in Geriatric Social Work receiving her Masters in Social Work.

Originally from North Carolina, she and her husband have lived in Michigan the past 15 years with their daughter (a junior at Hope College) and son (a freshman at Brown University). Interestingly, Sonja has a twin sister – Sonia!

When asked her goals for her new position she replied:

"My goal is to lead Huron Valley PACE to new heights of success and ELEVATION. I am excited about the opportunity to expand our organization, become a leader in elder healthcare in our community, become a nationally recognized PACE organization, and also, to provide visionary leadership to the organization."

Please join me in congratulating Sonja on her new position!
